Of course back in my day things were rudimentary compared to the wondrous things
available now🤩
I seem to remember a helicopter and was there a zoo, or was the zoo duplo?🤔
Back in my actual day they were no figures just LEGO blocks
They don't know they're born do they 😅😅

Birdbrain, my grandparents had some Lego at their house...green base, white blocks, red roofing tiles and window frames. That was it!

Playmobil wasn't around at all when I was a child, it didn't appear until I was about 12 or 13. I did have Lego though, mostly just assorted bricks, but I did have a set to make a red bus. But no driver.

I feel lucky to have had the chance to get to know Playmobil through ds, who had his first set when he was 5, and loved it!

Thanks bridget, had a reasonable night's sleep, although for the last month have had some pain in my neck/shoulders which is making me wake up in the night a bit more than usual. But I now have 2 days off.

I'll be going out to the shops soon for supplies, then will get on with a bit of Playmobiling! Hoping to spend some time in the garden this afternoon.

Today's theme is pets at vet's! In the vet's waiting room, people are sitting as far apart as they can while waiting with their pets.

Llinos has brought Brandy, Alwyn has brought Apollo, and Eluned has brought a rabbit.

Llyr has brought a guinea pig and Osman has brought his cockatoo.

Heulwen has brought some fish, and Sir Ospringe Bapchild has brought his horse Canterbury.

Teresa the vet is examining Apollo, who has eaten something he shouldn't have.

She decides she needs to give him an ultrasound scan.

He needs an operation.

After the operation he needs a collar on to stop him licking his wound. Teresa gives Alwyn some canine antibiotic tablets for him.

Teresa is looking at Brandy, who has got a thorn stuck in one paw.

She injects some local anaesthetic before removing the thorn.

Afterwards she applies a bandage, and gives Llinos some antiseptic cream.

I was worried it was the sausages that had caused Apollo to be unwell.

Yes! The sausages! Poor Apollo.

Did Teresa the vet find out what Apollo had eaten?

I don't know! Maybe it was a Play Bentos pie? Anyway, he is better now.

Sir Ospringe Bapchild! This is the best name ever.

Love the horse Canterbury (oh! I just got the joke!) standing quietly in the waiting room!

I LOVE the vets!
Naughty Apollo (a Play Bentos pie would be enough to have anyone, human or dog, rushing for the vets)
