Branwen and Berwyn are shielding, and so are eligible for a "Norman box". A free food parcel. Well, actually it's 2 boxes. They are very excited to see what they have been given!

By the way, Berwyn got fed up with his new temporary hair colour and washed it out and let his beard grow back, but Branwen has retained her new colour...

They start to unpack the boxes. There is a nice box of biscuits, some cheeses and some apples...

They were hoping for a Play Bentos pie, but instead are pleased to receive a Play Bentos tin of frankfurters as well as some tinned ravioli and sardines...

… and finally a lovely fresh fruit and cream flan and a bottle of blue wine. "I wasn't expecting that." says Branwen "How generous!"

These are fantastic! I especially love the crazy scientists and the Norman BoxGrinGrinGrin Brilliant, properly brightened my morning

pussycatinboots · 21/05/2020 06:32

Well Done Norman!

ChessieFL · 21/05/2020 06:58

Love the food boxes!

FuzzyPuffling · 21/05/2020 07:53

Blimey. I am moving to Playmoland immediately. The Normanbox is shed loads better than the Borisbox. Wine? Cheese? Cucumbers? Fresh food? These are the things of our dreams.

PhilCornwall1 · 21/05/2020 08:07

That bottle of blue wine must be ..... Blue Nun, eeek!!

LIZS · 21/05/2020 08:12

What a feast! Will they be getting creative with recipes for the cucumbers?

CatkinToadflax · 21/05/2020 08:51

I was about to come on and say exactly the same thing as Fuzzy. Much as I’m grateful for my weekly Borisboxes, the Normanbox looks amazing! Envy Do I need a Playmo passport or visa to up sticks and move there?

pussycatinboots · 21/05/2020 10:10

Phil don't knock Blue Nun! at least it wasn't Mateus Rose Grin

PhilCornwall1 · 21/05/2020 11:09

@pussycatinboots oh god, I remember that!! Grin

Horsemad · 21/05/2020 12:43

Oooh, people thought Mateus Rosé was SO sophisticated at the time!! 😆

SnugglySnerd · 21/05/2020 13:40

That's an enormous bottle of wine, relatively speaking!

Ninkanink · 21/05/2020 13:44

It’s obviously a lockdown special - how thoughtful of Norm and his advisors to acknowledge that some people would need a little extra happy sauce. Just to take the edge off here and there. 👍

pussycatinboots · 21/05/2020 14:06

Phil it was on offer in Morrisons last wk I think. Wink
I got 2 bottles for a tenner of Blossom Hill Zinfandel...maybe that's where Norman ordered his wine from? Grin

PhilCornwall1 · 21/05/2020 14:10

Ah, now I know what's in the bottle It's "Playmoland Zinfandel 19"

A fine vintage!! 🍇 🍷

pussycatinboots · 21/05/2020 17:15

SoMuch is it a Bank Holiday weekend in Playmoland too?

Berwyn reminds me of Sion White from Pobol y Cwm Grin Branwen is much nicer than Anita

SoMuchToBits · 21/05/2020 20:36

I hadn't really thought about a Playmo bank holiday weekend! And I've never watched Pobol y Cwm, despite having lived in Wales for few years. I think not having a tv at the time and not speaking Welsh might account for that! Oh and it's not Blue Nun, it's special Playmo blue wine much nicer.

SoMuch I don't speak Welsh, live in England and watch online on Clic with English subtitles Grin

SoMuchToBits · 21/05/2020 21:24
Grin

Just to let you know, I haven't taken tomorrow's photos yet, so they might not be that early!
