What’s your favourite food to bbq ?

We have a kettle bbq, so was thinking of trying a whole chicken ? Or something big

I love chicken drumsticks, marinated in bbq sauce and seasoning.

I second halloumi

Ribs, prawns, lamb & Halloumi (I could probably live on halloumi given half a chance)

I'm not keen on chicken done on a barbecue, I think fattier cuts of meat are much nicer barbecued than lean meat.

we cooked a spatchcock chicken on ours this week-it is a gas bbq though (best investment ever!)
We bbq regualrly, our fave is waffles! So yummy!
We also bbq bananas for pudding. Stay with me here!! Seriously try it!
Bbq your nana for 10 mins on a cooling bbq. Remove, cut in half lengthways, drizzle with brandy and cover in squirty cream!

How do you do bbq waffles ?

Halloumi and red onion kebabs. We did pork belly on Friday, that worked well. Lamb chops were also good.

Second many of those above. Also aubergine, sliced is good, or a kebab with tomatoes and courgette.

Also like homemade flat breads finished on the bbq.

@Landlizard you take it out the packet, bung it on BBQ for a few mins and enjoy. I like it with cheese! 😁

Belly pork and par boiled new potatoes on kebab skewers to make mini jackets. Love lamb as well.

Oh I’ve never had halloumi on the bbq and I love halloumi - do you just put it onto skewers?

Bbq? I haven’t,but heard it’s lovely.

I’m more traditional boring with burgers,sausages, chicken skewers and jacket potatoes - thinking about being more adventurous!

I love halloumi, chicken wings, pork belly, and obv sausages. Burgers are hit and miss for me.

Whole chicken in a kettle bbq is fantastic, crispy on the outside & really succulent inside. And the underside goes all crispy too. Just put a bit of oil or butter in the cavity with some herbs & garlic, bit of chilli oil, whatever you fancy
