These wrappers seem to be accumulating in our local woods, just wondered what they are ? Are they drugs related ? Nearby were rizla papers

They’re just the packaging for roll up filters by the look of it.

ChandlerIsTheBestFriend · 10/05/2020 12:38

Looks like a pepperami wrapper except with green leaves on it. Other than that I have no idea!

TheBabyAteMyBrain · 10/05/2020 12:38

Yeah they are just the plastic wrapping from filters

WTFrigg · 10/05/2020 12:38

It’s just the plastic which wraps around cigarette filters, so not any more seedy than rizla (though they should learn to use a bin!)

Acidrain · 10/05/2020 12:39

They are filter tip packets for roll your own cigarettes, same with rizzla papers, the filter tips are not related to illegal drugs you buy them at a cigarette counter.

TheDropBear · 10/05/2020 12:40

Looks like roll up filters, IME people don't use proper filters for weed so probably just people smoking cigarettes.

frippit · 10/05/2020 12:41

That's the cellophane wrapper that cigarette filters come in. They're used to make roll up cigarettes with rizla papers, tobacco and sometimes cannabis.

WorraLiberty · 10/05/2020 12:43

Swan extra slim filters

Oldraver · 10/05/2020 12:44

Like others have said just filters. Though OH's have swans on

Yeah filters dh smokes roll ups .

ElectricTonight · 10/05/2020 12:47

Yup filters not drug related.

HardAsSnails · 10/05/2020 12:52

Cigarette filters are used by heroin users so it's a possibility, but it would be highly unlikely that that would be the only paraphernalia left about, filter wrappers and rizlas only is more likely just tobacco smokers.

ladycarlotta · 10/05/2020 12:55

I'm amazed that any adult has never encountered these! If there are loads on one spot I might assume that either someone always goes there to smoke, or some kids are learning to make rollies. Perfectly benign, but they should definitely learn to tidy up after themselves.

CorianderLord · 10/05/2020 12:57

No, you use a roach for a joint whereas these are filters for tobacco cigarettes. Not drugs related, though littering is idiotic

Crinkle77 · 10/05/2020 13:00

They could be used in a spliff so could be drug related although not exclusively. In my day you'd roll up a little bit of card to use as a roach.

Squidwitch · 10/05/2020 13:14

They are worm anoraks. The sexy kind, like in the original blade runner. You can buy the at pets@home.

wanttobebetter · 10/05/2020 13:22

Phew it's not more sinster and I don't smoke that's why .. but I have seen them about before but only as litter @HardAsSnails out of interest how are they used ?

OP posts:
1forAll74 · 10/05/2020 13:27

Whatever, but little bits of litter like this, can harm birds, who go pecking around on the ground in woods etc,

iklboo · 10/05/2020 13:35

When people hand roll cigarettes they put a filter tip in the end like on packet cigs. Except they're smaller and white.

PhilCornwall1 · 10/05/2020 13:38

It's from a line of cigarette filters for rollies. No big deal.

HaddawayAndShite · 10/05/2020 13:43

Cigarette filters. You wouldn’t use these type of filters in spliffs because it would remove a lot of the cannaboids and reducing the high.

ArnoldBee · 10/05/2020 13:45

Skateboarders also use cigarette filters to clean their wheels but I'd expect discarded filters too.

TitianaTitsling · 10/05/2020 13:48

@squidwitch have seen that the summer version is coming out, has a detachable hood. #wormfashion

wanttobebetter · 10/05/2020 14:21

There was only some foil in the area hence why I panicked, but the size it of and the fact there was also a drinks bottle and crisps packet probably means the foil was from someone's packed lunch. I was worried the wrappers were from needles. Sheltered life !
