What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first coffee of the day, listening to the radio & scrolling t'interweb. I was enjoying the peace with the window wide open but next door has started doing something that sounds diy ish & it wasn't peaceful any more :(

Today's plans here are to put a wash load on, put the living room/kitchen door handle back on (took it off to paint the door) and scrub the living room floor now it's decorated.

When the floor's dry I'll bring my books back downstairs & put them back on my shelf. I don't think they'll all fit now I got rid of the big shelf unit though.

Dd1 wanted to carry on with her book so I've left her to it (Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens, if anyone's interested) but will check up on her every now and again.

Dd2 has a nice paint by numbers to start so we'll do a little bit of that. If it goes well, the plan is to frame it and put it up when we decorate her bedroom.

We're having creamy chicken and leek pasta for tea. Possibly with home made garlic bread to mop up the sauce. & I might make a pudding but not sure what yet.

I've got a sore back today, so I'm just relaxing.

DS1 is doing a PowerPoint on WW2 for school, DD is playing barbies and DS2 is drawing.

@Whatdayisit2 that's a nice way to spend the day :) I might have an hour later if my neighbour turns his "boom boom boom" music down.

I've stumbled across a small problem...I can't find the door handle I took off . Obviously this means I must have a coffee break after all the looking

Right now I'm sat outside in my pjs baseball cap & sunglasses with a Coke Zero on ice listening to the neighbours child playing.

Taking it easyish today. Will do some gardening after lunch (hopefully DD will join me and not be glued to a screen all afternoon), long call to my elderly Mum and then make tuna pasta bake for tea, followed by Ninja Warrior and BGT!
