Anyone else think Joe Wicks is a bit off form this morning?

Suits us here! DD usually finds him a bit annoying but he's better than usual today & more focused on the excercises. He's quiter as well & not as chatty😊

DS bailed on day 1. In saying that what Joe has been doing is amazing, he's really fantastic & even turning up Monday morning with Rosie after his surgery was just brilliant. Lovely family.
I don't think he expected it to drag out so long. Keep up the hard work joe💪

Cant blame him I was due to start work at 9am and am still in bed, no energy to log on so I have no idea how he does it every morning and maintain his energy.

Mishymoshy78 · 07/05/2020 10:31

Hes always a bit off, i think struggles with depression.

dannydyerismydad · 07/05/2020 10:33

Was his workout easier this morning?

Please say it wasn't. I didn't struggle nearly as much today. Maybe it's making a difference 🤷‍♀️

Hasn't he just had an op? Probably knackered!

BlueCookieMonster · 07/05/2020 10:35

He was an inpatient over the weekend, had surgery and a bucket load of painkillers and antibiotics. He’s probably feeling rough as! I think I’d be phoning it in if I was him in those circumstances.

inwood · 07/05/2020 10:35

I feel sorry for him, he must be knackered. I doubt he thought it would go on this long, he has an infection in his hand, two small kids and is in lockdown like the rest of us. He's also spoken about depression in the past on insta.

Sparticle · 07/05/2020 10:36

I liked it this morning - back to just doing exercises. I do like the twists he puts into it but yesterday was a bit chaotic Grin
I've been doing them every day with the DC and it's been brilliant. Seven weeks in and I can't fault Joe's effort at all.

Thescrewinthetuna · 07/05/2020 10:37

He had an operation a few days ago, he’s a moron for being back so soon. I guess he feels pressured to do this now. Also it’s boosting his profile so much.

Megatron · 07/05/2020 10:37

He had surgery on Saturday and is probably in pain.

I bet the poor fella wishes he hadn't started all this. He needs to take a proper rest to let his wrist repair.

PerplexingWords · 07/05/2020 10:37

I thought the quiz was far too hard for younger kids but other than that we all thought it went really quickly which must be good.

BigBairyHollocks · 07/05/2020 10:54

Aww poor Joe.His arm must be really sore.We love Joe in our house Smile

peppersneezes000 · 07/05/2020 10:57

Really preferred this morning to all his others😅 it felt calmer & he was more focused on the excercises. Agree the quiz is very hard. Amazing how he's keeping going!
Prefer chilled Joe for sure 😁

He’s probably really sick of doing it!

peppersneezes000 · 07/05/2020 11:09

I'd say he really isbut it has raised his profile so much!

moron for being back so soon

Bit harsh to call him a moron Hmm

ScottishDiblet · 07/05/2020 11:18

I like and respect him so much. He has been great for our family. I enjoyed today’s workout.

SnugglySnerd · 07/05/2020 11:29

I am so grateful for him doing this. It had given our dcs (and us!) a clear start to the day so we have all been dressed etc. It would have been easy to sit in pjs and not get on with things in the last few weeks. He's helped the dcs to burn off.some energy every morning, Dh feels fitter from doing the workout and he's kept it fresh with fancy dress, quizzes etc.

SimonJT · 07/05/2020 11:32

I doubt any of us would be on top form if we had surgery on Saturday and we were recovering from a fairly bad infection. Be kept my four year old entertained for half an hour, anyone who can do that is a hero!

peppersneezes000 · 07/05/2020 11:33

Yes it's a great time of the day to have it on & gives me a chance to tidy up after brekkie while they're entertained.
In 30 years time the kids who did the workouts will always have memories of pe with Joe😊

I like that there are some calmer ones. I felt quite low energy this morning and it was nice just to rotate through a few familiar exercises in order. Job done. Quite happy that some are jazzed up and some are quieter.

Did I hear him say it’s not on tomorrow? Hopefully he can rest up a bit over the bank holiday. Friday’s are usually bit manic.

peppersneezes000 · 07/05/2020 11:46

No it's on tomorrow, fancy dress Friday

LilyRose88 · 07/05/2020 11:52

I really liked the workout this morning. A bit less chat and fewer shout outs. Wednesday's workout was a bit chaotic, understandably, as he and Rosie had Indie in the room with them. I wasn't a fan of Joe before he started doing the PE every morning, but now I really rate him and look forward to doing his 9am class. I even do one of his other HIIT workouts at the weekend to keep up the momentum.

crustycrab · 07/05/2020 11:53

How very dare he? He's the nations PE teacher!

Dreamstosell · 07/05/2020 11:53

Don’t think it’s on tomorrow. He said see you on Monday and gave out the homework

20viona · 07/05/2020 11:58

@Dreamstosell yes it is on tomorrow, he specifically said fancy dress friday.
