If you have a 'bullshit job' what stops you from doing something different?

There was a thread recently about doing 'bullshit jobs' - jobs that in your own opinion don't do anything of much real purpose.

I'm working on something in this area and wondered if people who feel they do bullshit jobs (self-defined!) minded sharing what it is that stops them from moving into a different job that isn't a bullshit job?

LGPS, fairly easy commute, hours suit me (childcare), been there years and better the devil you know I suppose.

My hearts not in it though and the company is a sinking ship which has shrunk massively over the last 10 years. I don’t know how I’ve managed to avoid redundancy / TUPE tbh.
