Extra payment for unpaid Carers due in June

This is in addition to the Carers Supplement that the Scottish Government make twice-yearly to unpaid carers.

This is great news for unpaid Carers in Scotland, and will come in very, very handy for many families who are struggling just now.

Thanks for the info! My DH had mentioned an extra payment but knew nothing about it and was thinking it was going to be a small amount.

The next Carers Supplement is due next month too, so I don't know if they might pay them both together.
Hope it helps, I know we are really struggling due to having all our usual social activities and support groups cancelled.
