Struggling to get to sleep at night - any tips?

When all this is over I'll go to the doctor but does anybody have any tips in the meantime for drifting off? I've tried meditation apps and they used to help but not so much anymore! Advice gratefully received :-)

I put an audio book on. It seems to stop my mind over thinking and allows me to sleep.

I listen to ASMR youtube videos. Depends what works for you. Alot of them have sounds which just irritate me but ive discovered i like the whispering ones. I can recommend ASMarctica or ASMRmagic or Check It Out who are 3 youtube artists that chill me out. Also any of John Butlers youtube videos. Not directly an ASMR artist but has the most amazing voice..i could listen to him talk...pause...sigh .. and lip smack all day.
Might sound a bit wooooohoo but give it a go. Use headphones for best experience. Good luck x
