What are your kids favourite meals?

There's a handful of meals that my children (5 & 7) are guaranteed to wolf down. Some that they begrudgingly eat and quite a lot they really turn their nose up at. I feel like we're eating the same old meals as I can't be doing with the fuss if it's something they don't really like.

Please share the meals your children love. I need some inspiration.

White Rose Maths are doing a 'maths challenge' this Friday although it's on their website now. It's making their own food like pizza using a wrap base. Maybe look at that and see if they enjoy eating what they make?

Anything Mexican, but especially salmon fajitas, chilli and nachos and tacos, roast dinner, sausage and bacon carbonara, homemade sausage, bean and cheese pasties, potato salad with new potatoes, mayo, yogurt, spring onion and anything else kicking around in the fridge, pitta bread pizzas and salad (particularly ceasar), ramen, Thai pork lettuce cups (Good Food recipe), spaghetti Bolognese, chilli cheese dogs.

Mine are aged 4 and under and they eat most stuff tbh but the favourites are;

Fajitas, they are the clear winner here. I think they like having all the bowls of stuff on the table and saying what they want in each wrap.

Roast chicken

Meatballs, they love them. With either spaghetti or penne (NEVER BOWS)

Cod fillets, with a spoon of pesto on top. Chips and mushy peas

Toad in the hole, my little weirdos like baked beans with it.

Chicken tikka curry with rice

Lamb kebabs with cous cous and corn cobs

Fish fingers, mash/chips and beans

RightOnTheEdge · 05/05/2020 19:04

Oh mine really love pasta with bolognese and dippy eggs with soldiers.
