Baby hit head 3 times in a week

My DD, 8 months, has fallen from sitting into the hard wooden floor 3 times in a week. I have literally moved to grab extra cushions twice and she's fallen backwards and once fallen forwards. Should I take her to hospital to check? Am worried about permanent damage

Don't worry, babies are very resilient, falling is part of learning. Unless she shows any worrying signs such as vomiting directly afterwards or going floppy and unresponsive, you absolutely don't need to take her to hospital, especially at the minute.
These will be the first of many bumps as she learns to walk, you'll get used to it.
Order a large wipe clean play mat from amazon for her to sit on if it will make you feel better.

I also have an 8 month old, she has just started pulling up to standing. I'm pretty sure she's fallen more then 3 times today. Try not to worry.

I'm sure she's fine, but don't sit her up on a hard wooden floor again!

We have wooden floor and have covered the living room with foam tiles to prevent this happening. You can get them from amazon!

Foam tiles.

I see pp beat me to it :) but it bears repeating.

My 13 month old has fallen off the sofa (onto carpet) 3 times this week and it’s only Tuesday. I now have to take her with me every time I leave the room to stop her doing it again!

Foam tiles are great, I have them under a playmat to add some extra cushioning, Has she been sitting unassisted long? If not a bumbling chair/sit me up or similar can help practice sitting but your DD may be past that
