Cows milk protein allergy rash

My baby boy is 6 weeks old tomorrow and on Wednesday last week, he was diagnosed with a cows milk protein allergy.

One of his symptoms which hasn't yet improved with the new prescribed milk is the red rash to his face, head, ears and neck. In fact, it appears to be worsening, yet all the other symptoms have virtually gone completely.

Can any give advice as to when the rash improves with the new milk? Is there anything you can use on the rash to improve it?

I have just spoken to his dietician and she has attempted to ease my worry but it's so hard with being unable to attend for support.

My son who's 10 months has cma and can still get the rash. Which milk has your DC got ? As I know there's more options milk wise.

My DS is 4 months with a cows milk allergy. I read somewhere it can take up to 3 weeks for all symptoms to go away and that some symptoms can worsen before they get better ( sorry cant find the link).
Having said that if your concerned talk to your gp.

@Ihatemylife2020 and @Harriett123 thank you. He has been prescribed Aptamil Pepti level 1. Most of his symptoms have gone bar this rash. Just worried I'm missing something.
