I've name changed for this because it's a bit identifying.
I want to recommend this series to my students, but I can't remember its name. It would have been produced between about 2012 and 2016 and it was about children in care. I watched it on YouTube or similar not on TV but it was originall a TV documentary. I think it was a series, but I can't be sure. It wasn't 'Looked after Children', but I do seem to remember it might have been filmed in Ireland or Scotland.
There are two scenes I definitely remember.
One was a young man leaving his foster family. He was leaving because he had turned 18 and the state no longer paid for him to be in care and his family no longer wanted him.
The other was a young woman who found her Mother or Aunt and was so happy and then it all fell apart.
I also seem to remember a scene where a young woman left a hostel and didn't want to go.
Can anyone help me?
