I am trying to bcc a group of around 225 people in an email, I've copied their email addresses from an Excel document and I keep getting this message in the photo no matter what I try.

Can someone help me please so I can send this email and finish up my day?!

You have a stray double quote thingy

StealthPolarBear · 01/05/2020 17:50

That said will you get prevented from sending to so many?

MrsIronfoundersson · 01/05/2020 17:51

Are you copying and pasting the addresses as a block?

StealthPolarBear · 01/05/2020 17:51

Copy them all, stick them in notepad, do ctrl f and search for "

Kitchendoctor · 01/05/2020 17:52

Have you tried clicking “check names”?

Or try hitting return after the last address in the bcc field?

homemadecommunistrussia · 01/05/2020 17:53

I would do as stealth suggests, then you might have to do it in batches. No idea what the limit is...

TooMinty · 01/05/2020 17:58

I think control and K will check if the email addresses are valid?

Fantasisa · 01/05/2020 18:00

OMG it has sent!!!

@StealthPolarBear - thank you! I stuck it in notepad and found the stray " "

They were hidden in the middle so I had not spotted them. I've spent an hour on this, I should have asked Mumsnet sooner!

Thank you everyone else who had replied, I had gone through everything in the settings too.
