How can I unsee it?

More importantly how can I mske sure it doesn't happen again? What do I need to install on my computer.

I mean I clicked on a link that was for Frozen Colouring pages and was redirected? to a close up action shot. No warning. My kids use my laptop for supervised browsing and to play maths and reading games....what if it happens again when they are using it?

Help please, techies. It's a windows 10.

download opera browser and use that for future google searches. It uses an ad blocker (how to turn that on is on the website) so you shouldn't see that again.

Turn safe search on on the browser, assuming its Google.

Turn the adult content filter on on your broadband router.

Not sure there is much else you can do. Some routers have specific tools you can buy or switch on as well.

Thank you both of you. I'm not very clued in with technology, how do I turn on the adult content filter on the router?

Which router is it? you just need to work out how to login to the admin page - it normally tells you in the setup bumf you get with it. You have to put an IP address or website into your browser, login, and switch it on. If you're with Virgin/BT/Sky you can probably phone up customer services and get them to do it as well.

For Chrome, putting Safe Search on is really easy. See here. support.google.com/websearch/answer/186669?hl=en
Remember to sync your account across all devices and lock it across all browsers.

It doesn't stop everything though to be honest, there is so much crud out there (be glad you didn't get a child porn version of Frozen), but it cuts down on it coming up at one click I think?
