Just thought we could add some good currently available family movies here as I really need some inspiration.

My DC 9 and 11 have enjoyed:

Five children and it
Aladdin
The Labyrinth (old but enjoyed!)

Race across the world

The goonies, jumanji next level (£4.99), toy story 4,

Not for kids but see no evil hear no evil

Holes! Bloody brilliant. Only watched it for the first time this week, and I can't believe we haven't seen it before it was so good.

The Iron Giant.

The Princess Bride. Great for adults as well as children.

The cat in the hat

The greatest showman
The haunted mansion
Goosebumps

@DonLewis what is Holes about, what age is it suitable for?

It's a pg, we watched it with my 8 yo and 15 yo.

It's a story about a boy who is sent to a correctional facility and the punishment is digging holes. But it's one of those clever stories where there are connections and twists and turns. It's actually quite hard to describe. I was really impressed, which isn't easy. I normally hate kids films!

Holes is great, we watched and read it in English class so at least 15 years ago and it was great back then

And it's on Disney plus atm

Shazam was great, we all loved it.
Kubo and the two strings - really beautiful animation and a good story

It's on Disney plus. You can get a free one month trial I think at the minute.

We have watched, Aladdin, the lion king , maleficent2, onward, 4 children and it, lady and the tramp. DC are 7 and 8, always looking for something new to watch and running out of ideas.

My 9 and 5 year olds enjoyed Flubber tonight. They've already decided on Inspector Gadget for next week.

The Kid Who Would be King is also very good.

Ah, you're welcome @Montybojangles, I really loved it, not many family friendly films keep me entertained but that one sure did! Fab story.

My 9 year old loved The Parent Trap so much she's watched it again in the same week.

We're watching Dumb And Dumber (it's on Netflix). The kids (11 and 13, but first watched it a couple of years back) love it.

Ooh this holes sounds good!!! I hope my two oldest haven’t seen it yet and it can be our movie tomorrow night!!!

All our kids love pitch perfect 1,2 and 3 and we regularly watch them as a family.

Bedtime stories (Adam sandler films tend to be a winner!)

I quite enjoyed z.o.m.b.i.e.s on Disney plus and I am sick to the back teeth of descendants but they are enjoyable!
