Dreaming things that happen the next day.

I keep dreaming things that happen the next day or soon after.

I would think it's a coincidence, but the strange thing is it always happens a day or two before my period starts.

I know it sounds odd but has happened more times than I can remember.

Last week, the day before my period came, I dreamt of three things that happened that very next day.

One example is that I dreamt about a work colleague who I only ever say hello to, I dreamt they was paying me my wages for that month. The next day I got a watsapp message from that person to say my wage slip had been delivered with theirs. Shock

Also I dreamt that I was going to the dentist for a check up. The next day I had a letter from my dentist, to reassure me through the uncertain times and to give some advice on keeping teeth healthy. How on earth could I have known that letter was coming in the post that morning.

To be honest if I was reading this I probably wouldn't believe it myself.

Has anyone else experienced this? And at certain times each month?

In the early hours of last Friday morning I woke crying from a dream where I was stood at the end of my “boyfriend”s bed and there was another woman in “my” space. I couldn’t move or shout or anything and woke up upset. I messaged him about the dream and calmed down.

Couldn’t sleep then so idly browsing social media. Found a while other relationship he had been having since January. 💔

So sorry to hear that @Lilolily

Not the first time it’s happened either - found out about a one night stand another boyfriend had about 20 years ago in the same way!

Unfortunately it only seems to happen with infidelity intuition for me.

If you happen to dream about lottery numbers can you let me know?! 😂

I often have dreams about random celebrities the day before they die. Robin Williams was one. Mark salling. Amy Winehouse etc.

Wednesday night I dreamt that my car was stolen from work, called my sister Thursday morning and mentioned it to her, and we decided it was because we’d seen an increase in car theft being reported on social media.

2:30pm yesterday a van pulled up behind my car at work, dashboard full of screwdrivers, and what looked like a key cloning device, both occupants wearing gloves, (seen on CCTV) registration of the van was false plates, luckily a work colleague was leaving, and they sped off when they noticed him.

I experience things like this a lot, not usually dreams though, mine are mostly just feelings I have, not always right, but sometimes they are.

I have dreams about people who i have met or know through someone else. In the next few dsys I will find out from mum (who knows everyone in this small town) that sonething significant has happened in said person's life.

Not so much as an adult but as a teen I'd sometimes have dreams about really mundane things - sitting in class and having a certain discussion for example. Usually a few days later I'd realise I was sitting in the class having the same conversation I'd dreamed about!

bettybattenburg · 01/05/2020 09:52

Gosh, that's really bizarre. It'd freak me out.

Patterjack · 01/05/2020 09:58

This has happened to me before. There have been times that I've seen something happen (when awake) and known what will happen next or what someone is going to say next because I've seen it in a dream..weird!

@BearSoFair I get this. I dream? Or have like rehearsal conversations! It's kinda creepy. I think some people can access more parts of their brain than others. I know that sounds bonkers but I'll give you a few examples of things I have experienced.

*I have dreamed about people being pregnant and then days later they've announced it.

*I knew I would lose my 4th baby as soon as I got the positive test.

*I dreamed my 3rd and 4th children would be a girl and a boy - they were!

*During a dream when I was 3 months pregnant with my son, my mum handed me a baby and I said to her "He's doing well, he's such a good weight considering he's only 32 weeks" - my son was born prematurely at 32 weeks 3 days! I even went as far as telling my midwife that we should be prepping for an earlier arrival - obviously she laughed it off.

*I can taste/smell things just by thinking about them.

*I only have to visit a place once and I can remember the exact lay out, enough to walk around blindfolded.

Then there's the conversation thing. I'm honestly not sg you.

@BearSoFair yes, this is my thing/talent as well. Sometimes my dreams are years in advance of the actual event transpiring. Only my family knew about it and my mum used to do it too. I knew I could trust my partner when I finally told him about it, about 4 years into our relationship.
