He’s had a rollercoaster few weeks, hasn’t he?

I wonder whether he will take paternity leave?

Lovely news anyway. I’m very happy for them.

That's that relationship doomed then, Boris is incapable of committing to his children. Poor little boy, hope his mother is a better parent than his father that's not difficult

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 29/04/2020 10:15

I thought she was around 27-32 weeks, I'm sure I read baby was due end of June but I guess that could have been the media speculating. Happy news nonetheless Smile

Maybe he has learned from his mistakes? Let’s not be negative the day he was born.

She seems very capable, anyway.

I wonder if it was slightly premature birth? Late April doesn’t really meet the description of “early summer”.

There are already at least two other threads in chat about this

Wow, I didn't realize she was this far into it...

Does that mean she was pregnant before he even divorced his previous wife? Classy! Definetely shows he is a man that is responsible and can be trusted.... Hmm

YinMnBlue · 29/04/2020 10:17

That answers all the ‘where’s Boris’ questions about his absence from last night’s Press Briefing, then!

Good luck and best wishes to Carrie and baby.

Maybe when Carrie said “early summer”, she meant May and so this is only a couple of weeks early?

As you say, the media may have been guessing —inventing things— based on her neat bump.

I'm another one who thought the baby was due in the summer. Quite surprised to hear the little one is already here.

Not negative, just applying the law of probability. I'm sure his mother will be doing everything she can for her son.

ArriettyJones · 29/04/2020 10:18

Sorry @Lockheart I did look for other threads before I posted but I’m a bit bleary.

Well, congratulations to them. I hope mother and baby are well. It's been a stressful few weeks for anyone who is heavily pregnant

I suppose the other possibility is she might have been slightly misleading on purpose so as not to be hounded by media around her due date. I can’t say I blame her. I’d do the same if I was in the public eye.

Apparently the press put such pressure on Princess Diana, that the stress of it directly led to her being induced. I think the RF and others learnt from that.

Back in the day, his second wife - Marina- was heavily pregnant before he divorced wife number one and quickly married her. So he has form code that and Marina can’t criticise.

Anyway, the most important thing is the baby is here and healthy. Babies are always good news. Smile
