Any online courses to learn about social media platforms

I've come to realize how useful some forms of social media are in these times. I didn't grow up in the age of mobile phones I am old but... I would like to learn more about social platforms as I have time on my hands. Any suggestions of courses or books that might be helpful.

Do you need something formal or do you just want to understand all about these things, about security etc?

It's more about how they work and what you can do on them if that makes sense.

I've sometimes found YouTube to actually be quite helpful for technology type things. If you search something like 'how does Snapchat work' (just picking an example out of thin air), or how do I use on a there are always loads of videos telling you how to do it, and what pitfalls to look out for.

The government has just launched something today that might help. Have a look at theskillstoolkit.campaign.gov.uk

Thanks Defiantly - I've had a quick look at the government site and it could be just what I'm looking for. There seems to be a lot on there about different social platforms. Thanks again.
