If your kid loved these books, are there others that they loved?

We have run out!

My DS liked Barry Loser, and the 13-Story Treehouse. He also really likes the Phoenix Comic and the books that go with that, and Beano of course.

Pluckedpencil · 28/04/2020 07:38

We have been using the two month kindle unlimited trial and downloading diary of a Minecraft zombie (or some such title) which he likes and consumes in a night. David Walliams went down like a lead balloon!

Michaelbaubles · 28/04/2020 07:42

Ha, we’ve been doing exactly the same, I hoped he’d read some actual books but no, just zoomed through about six books called “Diary of a noob” or some such shite. Ah well, reading’s reading,

We’re exactly the same! Went thru all the DoaWK in a week! And they’re expensive buying online, we don’t have a kindle or iPad.

‘The Bolds’ series are very easy reading and fun.

HowFurloughCanYouGo · 28/04/2020 07:56

Thank you.

He didn't actually like David Walliams but I had to put it up in case it got suggested.

I will look for some of these now thanks

I asked my just-turned 9 year old. She said Horrible Histories, 13 Storey Treehouse and Amelia Fang. I read a bit of an Amelia Fang book to her, and I enjoyed it. There are a few available on Amazon, they aren't a series that has to be read in order.

Was going to say Mr Gum too. Genius.
