Nice present for a scientist/gardener - any ideas?

I want to send someone something to cheer her up. She's not flowers and choccies type, loves gardening I think. I know she's so frustrated not to be able to get together with her fellow nerds at this difficult time Grin - not being even remotely competent at these topic areas I haven't got a feel for what might be nice to receive.

If you are sciency/gardeny type person what might be a nice treat?

Erm, right now I'd love a 50L bag of compost. It's difficult with gardeners as mostly people will have all the things they need (tools etc) and normally I'd say garden gift vouchers but going to a garden centre isn't an option right now. Maybe some nice slate plant markers or similar?

Or maybe a max/min thermometer or rain gauge? For a bit more of a science angle.

A bird feeder? Not a pretty one, a good tough one. With food.

Funnily enough she was bemoaning the absence of compost for online deliveries! Shame as I live round the corner from a supermarket with piles of it but i'd have to post it to her as am 190 miles away and might be a bit pricey!

The RHS book ‘genealogy for gardeners’

What a beautiful book. That looks lovely. I want it for myself.
