DD is 6 1/2 months, I've done two weeks of puree veg but want to start introducing finger foods.

Can I do finger foods from now. She holds her head up but cant sit up on the floor without a bit of support. She can sit in her high chair

Thank you

Yes, you absolutely can give finger foods now. She might not have developed the pincer grab just yet so she will use her whole hand to pick things up by clasping the item in her hand. It is best to place the food into her hand, but let her bring it to her own mouth. The pieces need to be finger size.
Don’t panic when she gags and be warned, it will get messy!
