Ideas for a “new mum survival kit”?

My friend had her first baby about a month ago. She’s struggling. She’s not able to see her parents or her friends and I can’t even imagine how hard that must be when it’s your first.

She’s an old friend and I’ve been reconnecting with her over messenger recently. I was going to buy the baby a present and post it to her but I thought it might be nice to put together a wee “survival kit” with nice things and post it down to her. I’m just looking for some ideas.

I didn’t breastfeed and I know she is so a couple of wee pointers that might be nice in that respect would also be appreciated.

Things she can eat with one hand. Cereal bars chocolate raisins etc. A travel mug keep drinks warm and not spill on baby. Earphones to listen to podcast or something similar when feeding baby in night. Hand cream when washing g hands all time. Amazon voucher due early hours shopping

She is not loving breastfeeding

When do you stop having to use the nipple cream?

If she is having difficulty with feeding the nct helpline can be great

I think a pressie to make her feel loved is a wonderful idea. Foot cream?
