Not the biggest issue in the wider scheme of things, but it's driving me mad that I can't remember the name!
I read it a few years ago on my old kindle, which then died. I now have a new kindle, but not all of the books crossed over,and I'd really like to read it again! I'm pretty sure it was one of the daily deals/99p types which surprised me by being really enjoyable, so it may not even exist in hardcopy.
It was about a cleaner, who had some sort of foreign heritage (Greek perhaps?) and was called something like Elena or Evie. She has kids with a lazy twat of a man. One of her kids gets a scholarship to a naice private school and it's all about how she copes with that/dumps the twat/gets together with her kid's new fit History teacher.
It was just good fun, and really cheered me up at a time in my life when I was feeling quite down.
