What can I send my friends for £10?

3 friends - all having shitty days today. I'd like to send them all a little gift.

I have Amazon Prime. £10 would have to include postage too otherwise. What would you send?

Is there anything in particular they are missing while in lockdown?

Say a show or concert? You could send the soundtrack or DVD or even a book about the 'thing'.

youreajetalltheway · 25/04/2020 20:59

You can send an amazon gift voucher by text or email

BigcatLittlecat · 25/04/2020 21:08

I sent my friends little bracelets from the woodland gift company! Lovely idea!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 25/04/2020 21:09

A book each? Something nice and uplifting.

DaisyChainsForever · 25/04/2020 21:13

i sent my mum a personalised postcard a few weeks ago. Had a pic of DS on the front and i wrote something nice on the back. I would love to receive sweets/chocolate in the post :)

Bridecilla · 25/04/2020 21:22

Books might be an idea. Maybe food / sweet treats.

I'd def like them to be a thing rather than a voucher 😀

I did this:

One friend got a swears colouring book and colouring pencils.

One got my favourite book that I knew she hadn’t read.

One got some bath oil and a face mask.

One got a small piece of jewellery.

£10 including postage and has been very well received!

A box of brownies? Used this one for a friends birthday recently, apparently very good & £10 all in.

I'm sending two friends a bar of nice handmade soap each. Only about £3 a bar.

Have a look and see if any local businesses are doing deliveries of sweet treats etc.; farmers market traders for instance.

Have a look in Selfridges website because they are doing free delivery today. You need to type in FREEDEL at checkout.

Lots of lovely things under £10 in the Foodhall section.

BikeRunSki · 26/04/2020 10:24

You can mail order canes etc from Betty’s

BikeRunSki · 26/04/2020 10:25

cakes! Not canes

Redact · 26/04/2020 10:30

Are any businesses local to your friends doing home deliveries? I was able to order a box from a local bakery to be delivered to a friend. Shop is not open for customers but they are doing set bread box deliveries to local area 3 days per week. Box includes fresh baked bread, pancakes, buns and croissants. Another coffee shop is doing home deliveries of nice coffees, home made soup and brownies. Both these businesses charge £10 including delivery.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/04/2020 10:30

Harvey Nics have got free delivery and quite a lot of food stuff under a tenner. They also stick The Ordinary - their squalane (sp?) oil is nice and costs pennies.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/04/2020 10:31

Stock not stick - bloody kindle!

zozozoe · 26/04/2020 11:30

Ideas:
Spacemask warming eye mask
Tisserand aromatherapy oils
Some nice Bamboo socks
Gin
