All my family are meeting up except me.

Since the lockdown started my family have pretended that they are following the rules. They moan to me on phone calls and messages saying how bored they are and they have been stuck in for weeks.

They moan about people who are not following the rules and cry about people who have died.

They clap at 8pm every Thursday.

But....

They have all visited my mum and dad several times.

My parents don't refuse and let them in as often as they like.

They have all visited them accompanied with grandchildren.

They wander off into town and browse the open shops.

They visit friends for bbq etc.

And to top it off the last phone call I had with my sister she said ( whilst at my parents house) I'm not surprised you haven't visited Mum and dad for ages, it's a mad house here!

No I haven't visited for ages because we're in a bloody lockdown!

They will no doubt use this against me to say I never make the effort to visit anyone.

I'm just so annoyed!

I hear you.
My mum is on her own. She's missing me and my brother and her grandchildren soooo much. We speak almost daily in the phone.

My auntie is also on her own, however everyday her children take the grandchildren to play in her garden. They think it's fine because children and grandchildren are in garden (it's not a big garden, about 12 meters longer) and my auntie sits in the conservatory with the doors open taking to them. My mum doesn't understand why it's wrong and why we can't do that.
On social media they are all 'stay at home' and clapping for the nhs. Bloody idiots.

Yep. I am veering between rage, embarrassment and annoyance with my mum. She has had a parade of folk round to sit in the garden and offered each one tea. Tea ffs. So they’ve had their mouth and hands all over a cup!

I am afraid that I will have totally fallen out with her by the time this is over because there is no excuse.

Oh yes also the ' stay at home, save lives ' banner used on your social media profile picture. Used by all of my sisters

My parents could get seriously ill too if they get it. I forgot to add also 2 of my sisters and parents have all received the letter to say they are high risk and they must isolate for 12 weeks.
