Sending child to nursery instead of grandparents

What are your thoughts on sending a child to nursery just before their 2nd birthday instead of going to overbearing & controlling grandparents who think they are the parents? Did your child progress better in nursery or with grandparents?

Could you do 1 day with grandparents rest at nursery? I think its great for their socialisation

Definitely nursery if you can. It will teach them how to be around other children, keep them occupied with things that you probably don't do at home, stretch their minds, teach them that things can be done in a different way to how your parents do things.

My kids are really missing the interaction with other children at the moment.
