Has anyone had success with xenical?

I know there is no quick fix and it's not the answer but I also know I'm totally addicted to cheese and no matter what diet/lifestyle approach I try I always end up eating cheese.
I'm desperate for just a boost..even to lose half a stone (I got 4 stone to lose).

Anyone had any success with these? Even in the short term?

Please dont come back talking about calorie deficit etc. I only really want to talk to people who have tried xenical.

Thanks

OMG!!!! How could I forget the side effects. If you do try it, I suggest wearing a sanitary pad towards the back of your knickers! I realise the point is to modify your diet by NOT eating fat, and not getting the orange oil seepage Blush, but its awful. I only tried it for a week or 2 and saw no difference at all in my weight. I also didn't eat a great deal of fatty food, but was amazed when I had a few mouthfuls of an Indian once.

I recently did a keto diet. It was great. You can eat cheese, cream, an array of vegetables, butter, meat, fish etc. It did take a while to learn what you can/cant eat. I used 'carb manager' app on my phone, otherwise I'd have no idea how many carbs I was eating. It seemed a good lifestyle diet forever, as you can easily dial up the amount of carbs when you have lost the weight you want. I lost 11kg in about 4mths, but I was still having the odd wine and other naughty things, so my loss was fairly slow.

At first it seems restrictive, but there are SO many recipes online to make things very similar to the restricted items. Often, our dinner guests didn't even know the crumb coating was almond meal or that mash was actually cauliflower.

I tried it about 15 years ago. OMFG never again. It was horrendous. Despite sticking to a lower fat diet,I had awful diarrhoea and continual oily orange leakage, which the previous poster mentioned. I also had constant wind and griping stomach pains. I only stuck with it for a week. And I only lost marginally more than I would have in a week without the Xenical, about 3 pounds instead of two.
