Has anyone done this?
Thinking about taking on a temporary job to bridge the gap between my furlough pay and normal pay.
The business I'm in I cannot see getting back to normal for a long time (large hotel) and so am worried that I may not get paid for the whole time I'm off so just in case would rather take action now than waking up one morning with no job and no pay.
Has anyone done this?
I've looked at my companies website and it's a bit vague. I'd have to ensure I'm still a available for work, hours don't clash and I can go back to work. If its p/t no problem I'd quit the new job (I'm sure that's what they are expecting at the current time)
I'd also have to get permssion from my people manager (don't know who that is!) but until I get an offer of employment I cannot confirm any details to them that I need.
Although I enjoy my job and the people I'm not enjoying the type of work I'm doing another department would be fine so kind of need to move on in some way anyway
