Anyone looking out for the Lyrid meteor showers this week?

I rather like the sound of this - the best night would appear to be Tuesday but 1) I live in London and there is a lot of light pollution and I cant be bothered to trek off to a large open space and 2) I'm not sure I want to lie on my tiny patch of lawn for an hour after midnight in a sleeping bag! 3) I've got the virus so not sure it would be great for my chest to be lying outside in the cold. But apart from that....

Anyone going to be looking? I've love it when I've seen shooting stars before.

Yes if we get a clear night. Love seeing meteor showers.

Hope you feel better soon.Flowers

Thank you. I live meteor showers too. It was a little cloudy last night but generally quite clear and pretty cloudless here where I am today. Good luck! Will you be lying on the ground in a sleeping bag ?

We did, last night. I set up the tent for the dc, we had a fire in the fire pit because it was so cold.
I saw my first shooting star! It was glorious! We didn't see the star link satellites, but we saw so many satellites, I was amazed!
We didn't sleep out, it was freezing! Even with a small fire! Can't decide whether to repeat it tonight, it's supposed to be the best time isn't it? Maybe we peaked too soon!

Oh, and I hope you're in the mend.
