I have a 2.5yo DS, who I love dearly. Pre-pregnancy I was a (large) size 10, just over 9st. I gained a fairly normal amount of weight during pregnancy despite vomming most days, then I went to 42+2 before my little one had to be forcibly removed from my womb... As you can probably imagine I was huge by this stage. Fast forward to the present and despite not eating any more and exercising as much if not a little bit more than I did previously I'm stuck at 10st 5, a large size 12 and I've got a delightful kangaroo pouch that is now a permanent feature of my physique. I was never toned beforehand so I'm not faffed about that but the excess skin around my tummy and love handles are really getting me down.
I had cosmetic surgery once before when I was in my early twenties (not stomach or comparible surgery but deemed cosmetic so not funded by NHS). So I'm not against seeking surgery as long as it's my own choice and a capacious decision... Which it would be. I was wondering though if anyone else has chosen to go down this road and if so, were you pleased with the results? Any regrets? Thanks in advance.
