Can DH collect prescription for me?

I’m 3rd trimester and isolating and feeling terribly ill due to anemia

Doctor has written me a prescription that’s gone straight to pharmacy for collection but it slipped my mind to ask if it can be collected for me.

Will he need to take any of my ID or anything else?

No just your name and address.

I think it depends in the pharmacy, I collect DP and DD's prescription no questions asked but a friend, collects her grans from a different pharmacy and they need to show ID.

If you're not paying because of your maternity exemption he might need to give the number from your card

It should be fine either my husband ,daughter in law or myself collect mine and hubbys every month normally and i have 2 lots of controlled drugs every month and every couple of monthsi get 3 have 4 lots of controlled as well as a carrier bag each full . Give the pharmacy a ring anf say you are heavily pregnant .Good luck with therest of your pregnancy x

He can collect, he shouldn't need id unless it's for controlled drugs, but some pharmacies vary so it's worth taking. Definitely take your maternity exemption certificate, if you don't have one, he will have to pay for it. Don't ring them, there's nothing else they can add. If you have your NHS number to hand, it may be useful, but it's not compulsory.

DH and I collect prescriptions for each other and DD all the time.

I collected some for other people in boots yesterday, only needed their name & address.
