To be sick of covid conspiracies

Just that. I'm quite frankly getting so sick of listening to conspiracies regarding covid origin from my friends, family, and the media.

To date: the scientific community around the world agree it was a virus from a bat, to another animal, which then infected a person.

Similar to the flu- from a pig farm in Kansas USA.

I'm sick of the BioWarfare conspiracies, the bill gates creating it. To whatever else.

So sick of people wanting to believe it is something other than the most sensible rational reason.

I'll probably get responses like "DONT listen then".

But it's from friends and family even. I can't help but feel they are needing to find some way to excite themselves of this sad virus.

The best one I read was that it was Lady Gaga and her mum conspiring with Bill Gates and the WHO!

Mintjulia · 19/04/2020 04:01

Yes definitely. It’s hard to understand how people who seem rational and educated can spout such guff.
The other two depressing reactions have been people’s willingness to “call the police and report a neighbour” over the slightest thing, and some people’s irrational dislike of runners and cyclists.

Given half a chance, some would be burning people as witches. Sad

They’re getting very hard to avoid. It’s scary to realise how many people are so dim, I think.

@ArriettyJones

I am thinking the same thing as you- how utterly stupid and willfully ignorant a lot people are. It's getting tiresome to listen anymore.
