And I was not emotionally prepared.

I don't remember it being so emotional, I cried so much.

Anyone else been surprised watching a childhood favourite as an adult

Haha! Yes this happened to me, but I cried at Homeward Bound as a child too! When you think shadow isn't coming home...😭😭😭

Motherofmonsters · 18/04/2020 20:55

I did forget he fell in the hole though

I was bawling at the end of Three Men and a Little Lady. I think the lockdown is getting to me.

ReggieRed · 18/04/2020 20:59

I knew he was coming home too, but gets me every time!

I wasn’t moved by E.T recently... I’m sure I used to cry over that as a child. I have obviously become stoney... that said I genuinely sobbed over coco and I was in the cinema Blush

Soubriquet · 18/04/2020 21:01

I think I cry more over films that I did when I was kid

Coco was one
The good dinosaur had me bawling

Homeward bound 1 and 2 have me sniffling

MrsDoylesTeaBags · 18/04/2020 21:10

I cry at everything. I watched Coco last week and I was not prepared, I was bawling, proper ugly crying.

wowfudge · 18/04/2020 21:14

Daddy, my Daddy every time

meow1989 · 18/04/2020 21:18

Oh god its traumatic isnt it! The pound, Shadows paws in the mud... I can't!

The little princess makes me cry where she's blowing out the candles and it keeps cutting from that to her dad being killed (or so.it would seem)

wendz86 · 18/04/2020 21:19

When shadow comes over the hill , gets me every time .

If you enjoyed Homeward Bound you might also like the film Fluke by Stephen King. Another weepy.
