I'm opening a bottle of prosecco. Who's joining me?

I think it's a decent enough time to open a bottle. The weekend is officially upon us.

Of course, I'm on furlough so the days are all blending into one right now but I'm trying to keep a bit of a routine going!

Lol! I texted my bestie yesterday at 4:30pm to moan. By 4:31pm we both had a lovely cold glass of wine and put the world to rights (ie complained, swore and laughed). Felt epic! Crack on OP! It’s good for the soul!

Not sure if this is allowed but Highclere Castle are doing a fb live gin at 9pm if anyone wants company.

Bit early for me - I'd like to make it till 5pm today.

Tempted to start earlier since it's so sunny.

I log off from wfh in 19 minutes. Bottle is in the fridge ready.

I‘ve been wondering for the past hour if it’s too early to have a glass of something fizzy! Unfortunately I am alone with a demon 3 year old and a 7 month old so it will have to wait!

I like to stretch it out to 5pm but cheers 🍷

I'm tempted today to have a glass of wine when DS has his tea at 5pm, it's felt a bit relentless today!

DH is just making us a G&T to drink in the last bit of the sun before the bastard tree in the garden behind us steals the sun!

DS is on his tablet in the lounge. Was going to tell him it was time to come off it as he’s been on a while........but might leave him a bit longer so we can enjoy the drinks in peace

My child asked for a smoothie so I made one for me too: Zinfandel, frozen berries and crushed ice. Happy Weekend!

I only don't have a drink yet because I had two work calls put in between 3 and 5. As soon as this one is done I am definitely having a large glass of white wine.

I'd best not. I quite like prosecco but not white wine in general. I got some for a mushroom risotto i was making and drank the rest (small tin, not whole bottle!) my room gets very hot with full sun on it and I sweated so much I needed another shower!

Would have loved a cocktail though!
