Lamenting the inevitable gap between how our hair should look and the actual reality

I know it's vain blah, blah, blah but I am worried (and if I'm honest, morbidly curious) about when I will get a haircut. I usually go every 5-6 weeks, currently I'm on week 10 with no end in sight.
I'm supposed to look a little like Emma Thompson, at the moment I bear more than a fleeting resemblance to Gene Hunt.
Please cheer me up with similar tales of woe Wink

ruffle, I've just spoken to a neighbour who confessed to putting the date of deliveries on the calendar as it had become such an event in their lives Grin

My hair usually resembles Carrie Underwoods style in this pic but at the minute it's more like Billy Gibbons beard Blush

My roots are currently worse than this! I was a bit late making my appointment but then everything closed
