Oats give me a banging headache!

Anytime I eat oats (porridge, oatcakes, flapjacks) I get an awful headache, body aches, fatigue and dizziness. Strangely neither bread or pasta do this so I don't think it’s gluten intolerance. Strangely I’m also ok with oat milk! Beer gives me the same side effect as oats though...

What’s going on? Anyone else get this?

Gosh, just seen this. I get the same. If I eat a flapjack or anything with Oats, especially in the evening, I wake up with a banging migraine.
I’m not celiac, I’ve been tested, so will be interested to see if anyone knows what it is.

I forgot and ate a flapjack late afternoon and about 20 minutes later boom! Also woke up with a headache this morning. Very strange.

I've read a bit about this when I have had a bad bout of migraines. It can be related to the proteins in certain foods. I know that's very very vague but it's all I could find at the time. Not that uncommon I don't think.

Oats are quite high I protein compared to other grains so maybe it is the protein thing? Might also explain why oat milk doesn't have the same effects :)

Thank you for all your replies. Has anyone tried online or private clinic allergy/sensitivity testing? Would like to get to the bottom of it.
