Can I freeze and use this chicken?

Chicken breasts had a BBE 14th which was Tuesday. Cooked them into a casserole on the 14th, refrigerated overnight and meant to freeze them yesterday (15th) but forgot.

Would it be ok to freeze it now (16th) for use later on? I am always really conscious of food waste, but now more than ever!

I would and I'd just make sure it was heated through properly after defrosting

Yes. Best before applies to the raw product, cooking it gives you several days to use it up / freeze it.
