Broadband/landline NowTV

Anyone’s broadband/landline gone down? Mine went dead about an hour ago. NowTV provider. South Yorks.

Apparently it’s a problem in the area. Clicked to request an engineer to sort it.

The twiddly thing has been twiddling for half an hour now.

Sigh.

At the risk of sounding like I’m from the Iat Crowd...have you tried switching it off and on again? You could also try here (if you can’t do it using your broadband, try on a device with 3/4G connection. Good luck!

I ended up having to ring them. It’s not just me, there’s a problem in this area. An engineer will sort it within 5 days apparently.

I was on hold for about 20 minutes, which is quite amazing; I thought I’d probably be waiting hours.

So, tentative hurrah!

Ah good stuff. Hopefully they’ll fix the outage ASAP.
