It's a children's book, probably from the 70s; there is a little girl who goes round the forest looking for sleeping animals, and holds a jar to their face to collect "Sleepo" (or Sleep-o). There is a 'naughty' character who goes round waking up the animals and collects "Wake-o" in the same way from them as they wake up.
No idea what the actual storyline was!
Does it ring any bells with anyone?
Also - one where a girl wants to put on a neighbourhood show, and no one turns up - she sings "On the sunny side of the street" at the show. I think I remember an image of her on some outdoor cellar doors. Bonus points for that one
