My DD lost her top two front & bottom teeth naturally last year. Her bottom teeth grew back very quickly. However her top two front ones fell out last October just over 6 months ago & still haven't regrown 😟 is there something wrong? I'm in Ireland & all dentists are currently closed in my area...

I'd mention at next dentist appointment - they can take some time to appear.

I still have milk teeth I'm in my 40s and they are holding up they just never got loose or pushed out. I'm missing two adult front teeth - should be four at front - two of my children have same trait it's not really an issue - missing adult teeth thing tends to run in families does in my Mum's family though she doesn't have it.

If they had worried I'd expect they'd then do a quick x-ray to see if they are there - that's what happened with my kids. There's a lot they can do if they did turn out not to be there.

My seven year old lost the two top teeth to the sides of his front teeth before Christmas. No signs of their replacements!! He was due to visit the dentist when the lockdown happened. I’m hoping all is fine and his jaw is just waiting to get big enough for the replacements to come down. It’s a worry though.

DD2 is just finishing growing her two front top teeth at 9.5yo, having had the baby teeth fall out at 7yo. The dentist was happy that the new teeth were there, just taking their time.

It's been a pain because her speech has been affected but apparently not enough for the school to refer her (Have spoken with GP and school nursing team, but they needed it to come from the school - with staff turnover and no funding they'd rather let her lapse behind educationally).
