Not been able to have brown sauce or hot chocolate since DS, both linked to a bout of violent vomiting.

DD ruined coffee for me which im utterly devastated about, havent been able to touch it since i was pregnant, shes now 5months😑

We had just started getting Gusto boxes delivered when my pregnancy sickness hit big time. I had really been enjoying the new recipes etc but within the space of a few days I couldn't even look at the box it was delivered in or the recipe cards without vomiting. 🤮

Ribena Sad

Spindelina · 15/04/2020 09:25

Chicken, weirdly. I haven't liked the stringy texture since pg with DS (now nearly 3yo).

White wine!! I was devastated it all tasted like vinegar! Fortunately this was 19 years ago and after a few years of avoiding it, I tried a glass again and it tasted fine, so maybe it just needs a bit of time OP? 😊

Boiled eggs. Had a craving for one, ate it and immediately puked it up. Undigested egg chunks, fuck me it was horrendous. Never touched one since!!

Mrsbclinton · 15/04/2020 09:26

special K ceral

I developed a severe tea aversion. It started with milk in tea... Then as DD grew into a toddler, it was all tea. Just one cup of tea causes me to be sick now. I drink herbal stuff. DD is 7.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 15/04/2020 09:27

Blue cheese, from first pregnancy to about 5 years after having my youngest.

AntennaReborn · 15/04/2020 09:28

I couldn't drink tea or coffee for a while, I'm fine now though (DD is almost 9)

HiGunny · 15/04/2020 09:33

I couldn't face burger for a long time....memories of vomiting up chunks of mince 🤮
Also buffalo flavour Walkers after my second pregnancy....I'm still put off them 5 years later.

HiGunny · 15/04/2020 09:35

Also I drank a lot of herbal teas to avoid caffeine...can't stand any of them now. Delighted to be back on my strong coffees!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 15/04/2020 09:38

Thai sweet chilli crisps- od’d when pregnant with my DD and the went straight off them. To be fair maybe I had eaten my life times limit.

happymummy12345 · 15/04/2020 09:38

None

georgialondon · 15/04/2020 09:39

Curry

moleeye · 15/04/2020 09:39

Steak with DD, still cannot eat it. She's now almost 6

Eggs with DS, he's 13 months. Had a severe bout of gastroenteritis and was hospitalised (am diabetic and went into hypo), haven't gone near one since. Its not the eggs fault, it was just the last meal I ate before I felt like death!

theGirlWithManyFaces · 15/04/2020 09:40

Goats Cheese - used to love it but went off it when pregnant and now cannot stand it. Never made me sick or anything but just the smell makes me heave! Madness.

itchyfinger · 15/04/2020 09:40

My DH kept buying me those pizza Express pizzas from the supermarket when I had HG as he thought they were plain enough for me to eat. Now i cant stand them.

LuvMyBoyz · 15/04/2020 09:41

I couldn’t face cooked food at all during my first pregnancy. Even the smell made me heave. DP did all the shopping and we lived on sandwiches. He often had a cooked dinner at the school where he taught so I didn’t feel too guilty. Took a while after the birth to get out of the sandwich habit and back into cooking.

starsinyourpies · 15/04/2020 09:59

Pork & lamb. Not been able to face it since second pregnancy.

LBOCS2 · 15/04/2020 11:05

Sweet potato. I was ambivalent about it before pregnancy with my first, since then it makes me want to heave.

I also stopped drinking red wine after DD1 as every time I had a sip it gave me terrible heartburn - this went on until fairly recently, and she's 7 now!

Bubsy621 · 15/04/2020 11:28

@LatteLover12 this sounds like I wrote it - we did exactly the same thing. I am still pregnant and struggling to stomach anything red - that bloody box!

babloon · 15/04/2020 11:39

Subway. Smell made me nauseous and now can't go back in!

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 15/04/2020 11:43

Carrots. They taste of soap now.

Gin4thewin · 15/04/2020 11:53

Ds is 6 and i still cant stomach hot chocolate, ive tried it since and i cant even face brown sauce. Il lucky its just coffee with dd, everything made me sick with her 🤢

Meat. Went right off it during my first pregnancy and never regained my love for it. I still eat it but I don't really enjoy it much.
