Today I've reached the point of lockdown where I'm done crying and getting stressed, I want to start using my brain to learn and study, I want to proactive mindfulness and positive thinking along with healthy living.

Can anyone recommend any online courses I could do in the evenings please?

There is Corsera if you're interested in an online course but there's also DuoLingo if you're interested in languages.

The open university had lots of free online courses. I'm currently doing some about communication, but there's all sorts, and at different levels

Futurelearn is a good website for free courses.

Many courses at Future Learn, short / long, hobby / leading to a degree. Can personally recommend the creative writing module, but there are loads of different subjects to choose from: www.futurelearn.com/courses

Our local adult ed has lots of level 2 certificates free through distance learning. If not then the skills network offer them free online to anyone!!

SquashedFlyBiscuit · 14/04/2020 16:15

These ones are actual certified courses.

I’ve done a lot of courses through Futurlearn and a couple through Coursera. I’d highly recommend both.

I'm doing BSL through the WEA and really enjoy it 🙂

My local College has free distance learning level 2 courses depending on the level you want.

I second the open university and futurelearn. Lots of course options and they are both good sites. Have a look on both sites. Alternatively you could apply for a online distance learning course at your local community college. There are a few different options. Give them a call or email them for more information.
