... could hear loads of noise and cheering coming from their garden while I was sat in mine. Nipped up stairs to have a look out the bedroom window ...

It turns out there’s just the 2 of them (mid 40s) couple taking it in turns to blindfold themselves and try to throw balls into a tub 😂😂😂. Cue massive cheers and celebration when they score!!!

Aww, that's really cute.
Not like my neighbours with blaring music and barbecues with their friends...

My parents are having a ping pong tournament. They're both in their seventies. Much hilarity!

My parents dressed up as gnomes and did a garden fishing game, filmed the whole thing and sent it to the family 😂 wonder if the neighbours saw.

TerrifiedandWorried · 13/04/2020 22:46

@littleyikes they sound fabulous!

Pineappletree33 · 13/04/2020 22:50

That sounds really sweet. Fun too!

Heard a lot of noise earlier and looked out to see our older (70's) neighbours having races across their garden, one pushing a pram, the other a wheelbarrow Smile

Loving all the new sports developing in gardens countrywide. Maybe this year we should have the back yard olympics!

On Sunday I made my DH hunt for his Easter eggs blindfolded, in the garden. Goodness knows what the neighbours thought! I had to chivvy him along and help him, because the thunderstorm suddenly broke while he was doing it.

My parents had a game of croquet in the garden (with a toy set they bought for our children visiting pre-lockdown), the kids next door to them watched the whole thing, picked an adult each to support and cheered them on!

I've bought a dartboard.
DH and I are having some very competitive games of 'clock' in the garden.
