Reading a book today, and a part of it was about how important friendships are in life

I really, really do. I’m 41 years old now, and I’ve been blessed to know my two dearest friends since I was 14 and 16 respectively. I managed to pick up another couple of amazing friends during my 20s. So now, I’m sorted.

Friendship is a two way street. You have to meet people where they are, and love them for who they are. Side-note: They were other friend along the way, who for whatever reason, didn’t ‘stick’ — most of those are still fond acquaintances, but it’s the three I speak of above who are my non-genetic family.

I do too, I do think females friendships are pretty different to male friendships

Amazingly so. Lots of my friends (arsehole family mind) have been in touch / kept in touch / FaceTime etc. People I've just met in mum & baby group have checked in. Generally people have been very kind 💗Are you ok op?
