How would you spell the name Laurie for a girl?

Lori?
Any other suggestions?

I really love the name but DH and I can’t agree on the spelling. He thinks Lori but to me that looks like it should be pronounced Low-rie. I prefer Laurie but wonder if this is a more masculine spelling (eg in years to come will they think she is a man if they get an email from her?).

Any thoughts?

But prepare her for a lifetime of people mispronouncing as Lorrie and Starbucks never spelling it right on her cup. Sooooo annoying 🤬

Knew a few female Lauries at school and also have a female cousin Laurie (I am in my 50s in Scotland).

Never met a Lori, or Lorrie, prefer Laurie.

I went to school with a female Lori (born late 80s)

I know two female Lauries. I much prefer that to Lori

Lori is one if those unfinished-looking American names.

Laurie but I prefer Laura or Lauren.

Both work, though I know a young, Scottish female Lori.

I prefer Laurie for a girl - as in the novelist Laurie Graham.

One of my favourite and most beautiful colleagues - in Scotland - is Lori
