My Iphone is completley stuck and I can't reset it. Help

My phone was running and bit slow and apps kept crashing. So I reset it and now the screen is stuck saying 'reset complete' but its stuck I can't switch it on or off and when I ring it its going over to answer phone.

What the hell am I supposed to do? Have I buggered my phone up? I can hardly take it in somewhere to get it seen. Its my work phone as well

Have you tried holding both the home button and the power button together until screen goes black and logo appears? A hard reset as such?

Yes. Tried that and pressed so hard my fingers are reallt sore.

If you don’t get any joy hold down the volume down and lock button for 10 seconds.

If it’s a newer model you dint use the home button, I’ve forgotten what you do use but it includes the volume button. I reset mine after the same frustration and a google search

Different models have different reset controls.

Ive been pressing the home button, but looks like that doesn't work for newer models. Its back on now but everything seems much smaller of that makes sense? Ive put it to charge for now.

My iPhone 8 froze. I had a look online and found how to unfreeze it. I can’t remember what I did but there will be help on YouTube and techy forums.

The volume down and the lock button on the side. Hold them both down for 10 seconds. Leave the home button alone.

Hold down volume button & power button till it goes black & until apple symbol appears.

My Android tablet crashed after a reset, I left it until the battery ran down, recharged it, and then switched it on. It started up ok.

It seems to be working ok again this morning. Not sure what happened with it last night. It went very hot as well.
