Killing Eve airing in America tonight?

Hello!
Can anyone tell me why Killing Eve is airing in America tonight, but the UK can't watch it until tomorrow on iplayer (and even later on TV).
Isn't it a BBC programme?
It just seems really strange? I'm genuinely interested in the answer.
Thanks!

Because it's actually a BBC America programme, made for them by the BBC. BBC America is a joint venture between the BBC and AMC networks, and is a purely commercial channel (no license fee).
