DP is a bitch.

DCat is a bitch.

Come at me bitch, come at me!

I've been looking around the kitchen trying to figure out how I can become a millionaire meth cook. I've got chilli flakes, saffron and bourbon? Will that make something to make me a millionaire?

I love love love Breaking Bad!
I’m almost jealous of anyone who hasn’t watched it yet because I wish I could have that first time experience all over again.
Have you watched Better Call Saul? It’s a prequel to BB on Netflix. Absolutely brilliant!
Bob Odenkirk is simply fabulous.

drspouse · 11/04/2020 21:59

We are rewatching Spooks and Hustle from the start.
They have pagers! And flip phones! And it takes an hour to copy all the files on to a CD!
But in both series they are all very, very cool. When did it stop being cool to be cool?

utterflapdoodle · 11/04/2020 22:10

I absolutely loved Breaking Bad. I studied chemistry at university and thought I had forgotten everything about my degree until the opening credits had me shouting the names of elements I didn't know I remembered at the telly. Boron! Manganese! Argon! Polonium!!

Haven't got into Better Call Saul yet. I always found the Saul character kind of annoying next to the towering, wounded, messed up pathos that was Walter White. I can't imagine it's anywhere as good as Breaking Bad but please correct me if I'm wrong.

You're wrong Grin
If anything, Better Call Saul is even better. Slower pace, but amazing characters and actors. I thought the same as you, annoying spin-off, but it's one of my favourite things to watch.

VallarMorghulis · 11/04/2020 22:16

I also wish I had never seen BB, just to have the pleasure of discovering it all over again. And I also love Better Call Saul. Can't wait for the next series.

Currently I'm rewatching The Thick of It. I might rewatch BB after that...

nativityhumbug · 11/04/2020 22:18

If you haven't watched it all, you haven't watched enough.

Taddda · 11/04/2020 22:24

I've watched Breaking Bad twice now, I could probably do another round!

I was sceptical about it but you have to watch Better Call Saul! It's just as good (and getting better as its catching up with where Breaking Bad starts, with the characters creeping in...) Great stuff!

Roominmyhouse · 11/04/2020 22:25

We were really late to watch BB but I absolutely loved it. Every night we’d be going to bed later and later as we kept watching just one more episode!

RosesandIris · 11/04/2020 22:27

Better Call SAUL is the highlight of my week. When this series ends I will be devastated.

YesIDoLoveCrisps · 11/04/2020 22:31

I have rewatched it. Just rewatching Prison Break. Then I will decide what to rewatch next. Hooray for all the spare time I have.

ChandlerIsTheBestFriend · 11/04/2020 22:31

I’ve watched BB twice too now. Amazing! jealous of anyone who hasn’t seen it. Magnets bitches! Grin

I’ve attempted to watch BCS twice but just cannot get into it at all.

OP there is a one off sequel to BB showing jesse’s story. It’s called El Camino. Very much worth watching. A few continuity issues (you’ll know what they are when you see it) but doesn’t detract from the show.

WitchityGrub · 11/04/2020 22:31

I have never seen Breaking Bad.
I am not keen on violence, should I avoid it?

PureedSocksAndPants · 11/04/2020 22:39

BB is the best thing I’ve ever seen on tv. Every single episode was excellent. Never an off day. Nothing else like it.

I’ve also felt iffy about Better Call Saul. I just couldn’t bear to think it’d be a poor imitation, but will definitely be giving it a go now. Thanks for the heads up 😀

PureedSocksAndPants · 11/04/2020 22:44

Witchity there’s no denying it can be very disturbing and violent to be absolutely honest. But it’s also so so much more than that as well.

cakeallday · 11/04/2020 22:52

BB is hands down the best thing I've ever watched in my entire life. No exaggeration. It's an absolute masterpiece.

I don't like violence but I feel it's completely necessary to the plot.

Better Call Saul is really good too - it lost its way a bit in the last series, but the current series is riveting and threads in more of the BB plot.

MondeoFan · 11/04/2020 23:00

I have never ever watched Breaking Bad or Prison Break. Am I weird?
I did watch OITNB tho

Taddda · 11/04/2020 23:08

@MondeoFan if you liked Orange is the new black I reckon Breaking bad is for you, but I think I'd recommend it to anyone!

Only watched the first season of Prison break, good but not the same level.

MasterCat · 11/04/2020 23:12

Sorry, I am pissed.

It's about the 3rd tike I've watched it, but it seemed like a good isolation binge.

LegArmpits · 11/04/2020 23:15

Breaking Bad, hands down best telly ever. Better Call Saul is also amazing, has its slower moments but still so so good. Mike has to be the coolest character in the world ❤️

Notredamn · 11/04/2020 23:20

No such thing as too much breaking bad, yo!
(And I think you're already rich with those ingredients Grin)

oncemorewithfeelingplease · 11/04/2020 23:25

We’re watching prison break now for the first time and breaking bad is next on the list, can’t believe I’ve not watched it before when I saw it first aired in 2005Shock. This thread is making me want to abandon prison break to start breaking bad now........Confused

StormyLovesOdd · 11/04/2020 23:51

Breaking Bad is simply amazing

Walter White is my hero.

Tillygetsit · 12/04/2020 03:09

I agree that BB is the best tv ever. Bitch!

villainousbroodmare · 12/04/2020 03:13

I binge watched the entirety of BB when my twins were newborns. All my fuzzy memories of that time are a peculiar blur of desert caravans, bloodshed and tiny infants.

Taddda · 12/04/2020 05:03

This thread is making me want to abandon prison break to start breaking bad now........

I say abandon...!
