As a child of the 80's I was desperate for a frankie says tee shirt but due to the song being banned on the bbc my mum wouldn't let me however she let me get a wham one 😄 Did anyone else's mum say no or were you allowed one?

I wasn't allowed a Frankie tee shirt but I was allowed the Wham! one.

I was allowed one. My parents wouldn’t have had a clue about the song.

My mum wouldn’t let me have a David Cassidy poster, but Donny Osmond was fine because he went to church.

I really wanted one in the 80s, so pleased to see you can still get officially licensed ones. Might get one for my “daily exercise”. www.simplyeighties.com/frankie-says-relax-t-shirts.php#.XpIwzcrTWf0

I wasn't allowed to watch Tiswas, only swap shop and Saturday superstore

I was tiny as a teen, at 52 I'm still short but fatter so the t-shirts would have drowned me so it's for that reason I didn't have one.
